After an education in advertising and working as a consultant in numerous Swiss agencies, Markus founded X-Ray, his Basel-based agency, in the late 90s. Besides being Agency Head, Markus follows his biggest passion for developing creative campaigns and out-of-the-box thinking that foster innovation in healthcare communications in order to bring value to our customers. As Chief Innovation Officer, Markus lives by an old adage from Thomas Edison: “It’s seeing what everybody has seen and thinking what nobody has thought.” With such a wealth of thinkers within The BlocPartners group, it is Markus’ responsibility to find and harvest the ideas within the agencies and to leverage them throughout our network.
